The Chamber of Multinational Companies (Casem) maintains positive growth expectations for the next three years, said Tony Roldán, president and executive director of this association.

He explained that a survey carried out by them last year, nearly 80% of companies plan to increase their number of employees by 10% to 15%, reflecting an optimistic outlook for the economy and the development of the country.

The director pointed out that various industries have shown interest in establishing themselves under the special regime, including sectors such as technology, logistics, health and food.

“More than 30 industries have found success in the implementation of their operations in the country,” said Roldán, highlighting the opportunities that arise in areas such as semiconductors, manufacturing and medical equipment.

On the other hand, Casem, despite its recent creation, has experienced significant growth in its membership.

“We are a new chamber, with only 16 months of formal existence. We started with a group of 12 large companies such as Dell Technologies, Nestlé and Adidas, and today we already have 54 affiliated companies,” Roldán explained.

This almost fivefold growth shows the need for representation in the sector and the positive impact of the organization on the business environment of the country.
