The Tocumen International Airport, the main air terminal in Panama, closed the first half of the year marked by the continuous growth in the number of passengers transported, receiving 7,933,597 passengers from January to June 2018, which represents a positive variation of 5 , 13% compared to the same period of 2017.
According to the data provided by the Vice President of Planning and Strategy, passengers who made the stopover at the Tocumen International Airport to continue their trip on another flight (in transit or connection) reached an increase of 9.3% in the register 5,797. 848 million passengers of the interannual total, between January and June 2018. Among these destinations, it is headed by San José (Costa Rica), followed by Bogotá (Colombia); Miami (USA); Cancun (Mexico) and Havana (Cuba).
Considering the performance by region of the movement of passengers, the statistical data of the terminal.
