Panama seeks to become "Carbon Hub"

Panama aspires to become a “Carbon Hub” as part of an initiative to preserve nature and address the effects of global warming.

The initiative to turn Panama into a business center through a carbon market was raised by the vice president and Panamanian Foreign Minister Isabel De Saint Malo de Alvarado, during the opening of Forum Latin America and the Caribbean Carbon concludes Thursday in the Central American country.
