The Ministry of Commerce and Industries (Mici) noted that more than a thousand foreign companies and professional buyers from more than 100 countries participate in this fair.
The items that make up this commercial mission are: pineapples, cocoa, fish, organic fruits and vegetables, bottled water, melons and watermelons, shrimp, cane honey, chicken pieces, coffee, sauces and preserves.
Panama will have an institutional pavilion to promote the competitive advantages of the national platform for investment and opportunities in the sectors of logistics, free zones, maritime and tourism.
Another pavilion will be focused on the ‘Panama Exporta’ brand, where delegations from the Chamber of Commerce, Trade Union of Industrialists and the Panamanian Association of Exporters participate, along with 20 Panamanian exporting companies.
Panama will take advantage of this economic event to announce the opening of its second Agrocomercial Office, which will be located precisely in Shanghai, China.
