Movement in Panamanian ports takes three months in positive
The movement in Panamanian ports maintained a positive result, the first three months of the year, reversing a negative streak that remained for several months.
As of March of this year Panamanian terminals had received a total of 986,963 containers representing 1,670,708 teu, which means that they grew 9.87% and 12.38%, respectively, compared to the previous year, according to information from the Panama Maritime Authority (AMP).
The port sector is one of the most affected in the Panamanian economy. And during the three months to 2017, the figures for both your units and containers have kept growing at double-digit levels.
