The executive president of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), Dante Mossi, met in Panama with the ambassador of the United Kingdom Tim Stew and the trade commissioner Jonathan Knott, with the purpose of identifying investment opportunities and strengthening ties between Central America and United Kingdom,
In the talks, Mossi highlighted the Bank’s interest in attracting a new high-quality partner such as this island nation in northwest Europe, which would further improve the financial profile of BCIE, which currently has the best credit rating. from Latin America.
“As BCIE, we have become the bridge of opportunities between the region and the world, and for this it has been necessary to create ties with high-quality partners in other continents besides the American one. Currently, in Asia we have China, Taiwan and South Korea, and in Europe with Spain, so we are pleased to have these first approaches with UK authorities to invite them to be part of the Bank of Central Americans ”, Mossi said.
